Product Description:

It is used as Welding blanket and insulation lining to protect sensitive machineries, HT800 is effective against moderate to heavy welding sparks. Its light and heat treated satin weave pattern results in thicker, heavier and stronger fabric far more resistance to heat impact from welding sparks as compared to other thinner, texturized cloths.

High tensile satin weave HT800 also has a non hairy texture preventing irritation to be exposed skin common in other lower quality fabric and asbestos cloths.

HT800 is used extensively in the ship fabrication, ship repairs, Oil and gas, petrochemical and metal construction industries where heat insulation, insulation lining and extensive welding take place. HT800 is tightly woven, using 8HS Satin pattern, creating a packed density ideal to conduction heat away from the point of heat impact. The density facilities abed increases heat flow, thus enabling HT800 to provide and efficient heat conduction system away from the falling sparks area .This reduce the overall impact temperature and prevent burn through. HT800 has a temperature resistance capability of up to 550°C and can sustain even higher temperature sparks intermittently. Being heat treated, HT800 actually provides better durability, when subjected to heat shock treatments. Weighing at 880g/m2.HT800 is soft and flexible, making it ideal for wrapping around uneven surfaces and equipments. Two type of roll lengths are available to provide for heavier and more intensive application, or longer widths fabric, please consult our sale staff for customized orders.
