High silica fiberglass fabric is a special fiberglass fabric containing more than 96% silicon dioxide. High silica glass fibers have excellent high-temperature resistance and fire resistance. Silica fabrics have many uses, from welding to metal cutting applications. Another use of these fabrics is to create removable insulation blankets that can withstand continuous temperatures of 1000 degrees Celsius for extended periods of time.
