1. Descriptions:
Fiberglass cloth is just as the name suggests-glass. Thin fibers are spun from molten glass marbles, gathered into yarns, and woven into a strong, soft glass fabric. It can be folded, rolled, or draped, just like any other loosely woven fabric.
Style 1080 fiberglass cloth is a 1.43 oz/sq yd plain weave E-glass fabric referred to as the "lightweight" glass cloth in the model industry. As with all fabrics, the finish on the cloth makes a big difference in the way the fabric handles. Most of the 1080 we've sold throughout the years has been with Silanes with the biggest reason for that being that was what was available. For the 1080 product, we have brought a large roll of 2000 meters per roll. Meanwhile, we can also divide it into small rolls according to your needs, such as 500 meters per roll. Style 1080 lightweight fiberglass cloth has been widely used by model plane builders for many years. Use with Epoxy or Polyester Resins.
