1. Description:
Jiangnan 18μm Aluminum Coating fiberglass cloth is used to protection from iontense radiant heat. Compared with 9μm Aluminum Foil, thicker aluminum foil can provide better wear resistance.The aluminum foil glass fiber composite fabric reflects 95% or more of the radiant heat in contact with its surface. It is made of high-temperature glass fiber and then coated with aluminum foil or aluminum film.
AL3732 is constructed from a high temperature base filament/texturized fiberglass fabric, then coated with highly reflective polished aluminum foil. The aluminum foil coating melts at 1220°F / 660°C, however it does take some time for the aluminum foil to absorb enough heat to melt, thereby it can withstand short exposure to the higher temperatures. At the same time, the basic fiberglass fabric is 1000°F/537°C, while adhesive will burn-off or vaporize at temperatures above 300°F/150°C.
