1. Description:
High-temperature silica fabrics are ideal fabrics for demanding temperature applications throughout the industrial insulation market. They are easy to manufacture, remain flexible after high-temperature exposure, and provide excellent molten metal splash protection. Silica fabric has many uses, from welding to metal cutting applications. Another use of these fabrics is to make removable insulating blankets.
Silica fabric is a flexible fabric specifically developed to replace the asbestos fabric in welding and stress relief applications that require heat or molten metal protection.
